This site was constructed to give the residents of the City of Clear Lake, City of Ventura and the unincorporated area served by the Clear Lake Sanitary District access to information about the Sump Pump Inspection Program as well as the ability to schedule inspection appointments. Computerized appointment scheduling and inspection data gathering make the inspections themselves quicker for residents and cheaper for the residents of the Cities and District.

The list of inspections to be conducted within the Cities and District and the personal information that appears in the secure areas of the site were generated from the Clear Lake Sanitary District's billing information and Cerro Gordo County's publicly available parcel data. Personal information will only be shared with the Clear Lake Sanitary District, City of Clear Lake and City of Ventura and will not be shared or distributed in any other way. Aggregate statistical data about the inspection program results will be publicly available.
